 Altro che ninne nanne! Unaltra canzone che adoro ascoltare e che, necessariamente, si sorbisce anche la mia bambina è Thats life, una delle mie preferite fra quelle di Frank Sinatra.
Spesso la canto, testo alla mano, e mi piace proprio tanto perché mi fa venire alla mente quelle atmosfere anni '50 e '60 e i film con i divi di una volta, i tagli perfetti degli abiti, leleganza di dialoghi e scene e la vera magia del cinema. Poi Frank Sinatra fa sparire al suo cospetto tutti i suoi epigoni, compreso quel paffutone di Michael Boublè.
Mi piace molto anche Have you met Miss Jones che, insieme ad Hey Jude dei Beatles e a Thats life, fanno da colonna sonora a queste ultime settimane di gravidanza. "Thats Life, in particolare, è carica di energia, ha un ritmo irresistibile e il testo è modernissimo. Non a caso, la stessa canzone è stata interpretata da Robin Williams, Michael Bolton e dal grande James Brown. Io però la preferisco nella versione Sinatra. Qui riporto il testo
